The palace is in the heart of the city (Walkable distance from Bus stand) and under 2 kilometres from Railway station.
The entry inside the palace stops at 5 PM. The palace is illuminated on public holidays after 7 PM and is a delight to watch.
The current palace you see in the heart of the City of Palaces Mysore was built between 1897-1912. This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in India with over 3 million visitors each year.
